The Stagg MD Microphone is a general purpose dynamic microphone with a 6 metre cable for live performance and home recording. For optimum clarity, the microphone should be placed approximately 5-10 cm from the mouth. Speaking or singing too close to the microphone will result in a muffled sound and cause "popping" when certain words containing "p's" and "t's" are phrased. Popping can be elimintated by utilising a windshield , a form cover, which is placed over the top of the microphone.
